Fun with fabric paint
After a few botched stencil tests and one reasonably good one that mainly got messed up because I picked the stencil up too quickly, I decided to have a go at stenciling a sash. Apart from some minor edge bleeding, the first part of the stencil wound up looking pretty good. Now that I've cleaned up the edges by hand with an itty bitty brush, it looks great. Jacquard fabric paint is worth every penny. It goes on smoothly and has pretty good coverage, and once it's set, it will be dry clean safe. I can't wait to finish up this sash so I can take teh pix0rz. I have to practice my Effeminate Officer Dude voice, too. "I must retreat to refine my beauty!"
