fux0r! this sux0rz!
Bleh...no Blades and Darknean this weekend. They have car trouble, and they obviously require an operational vehicle if they want to drive to my place. Blades thinks they can visit sometime between Otakon and the start of the fall semester, but if that won't happen, we'll have to wait until winter to have our gathering. At least we'll all get to meet at some point, but still, I wish it could be sooner. I'm impatient. And tired - I only got 4 hours of sleep last night, so it's bedtime for me. And I just feel blargh right now...I randomly asked Blades if he'd seen the South Park movie, and he got all weird...I must have sounded like a dipshit American who really thinks everybody in Canada is like Terrance and Phillip. I don't want my friends to think I'm an asshole. Don't you hate it when you ask somebody a completely harmless question and for some reason it takes on a connotation you never intended it to?

At least I got some good work done today, and I finally made more progress in Silent Hill 2. Maybe I'm not a complete fuckup after all.

Current Music: Beatles - Eleanor Rigby

I haven't seen much point in the "Current Music" feature, but I'm glad to know that somebody was actually playing Eleanor Rigby, and it's not just me going crazy.

Tell them hosers it'll be cheaper to buy a ticket on the Greyhound than to fix their car, eh?

I like the music dealy because it's fun to give people an idea of what I listen to and to see what music everybody else enjoys. It's much more informative and much less boring than some HYOOOOGE list of everything in the mp3 directory. (Then again, I've been biased against those for a while because they stuff up my Google searches for mp3's. =P) I don't always just write down what's on, though - sometimes I go put on a song that matches my current state of mind, but I do that anyway, so it's not like I'm a great big poser or whatnot. At any rate, you probably are going crazy, but at least you can eliminate that symptom as a sign of madness. ^_^

Greyhound wouldn't really work for those guys because the bus only leaves at certain times and takes much, much longer than driving due to the route and all the stops it has to make. I took the bus from here to Pittsburgh once, and it took over 4 hours at the very least. Meanwhile, I can easily drive that distance in 3 or less. A 10+ hour drive from Quebec would turn into a nearly all-day excursion on the Greyhound.

Your pals could always fly down. Hmm.

But anyway, you're certainly not a poseur. :)

I wanted to also add that that bus is the exact same bvus that serves IUP and from IUP to Pittsburgh, it took 3 hours. In a car, it takes an hour and a half.
