There was just one problem.
My ears thought it would be fun to seal up right after we got there. I'm still having trouble hearing. The doctor hosed a bunch of gunk out of my ears, but it didn't seem to accomplish much, so she thinks it could be allergies or something. I think it could be related to the cold I came down with this week. (Back in January, I had trouble hearing for a couple of days, and then my sinuses filled up with glue. After that resolved itself, I was fine.) There's still more hosing to be done, and we'll see what happens after that. In any case, muffled hearing is srsly teh sux, especially when you're listening to your speakers at a reasonable volume and it turns out that your coworkers can hear them down the hall.
(Insert heavy metal snack food intermission here)
This is quite possibly the best stir fry ever. It's garlicky. MMMM GARLIC.
I have to take a before picture of our bland bedroom before I go all Leeroy Jenkins on the stupid curtain hardware and see if I'm going to have to call someone to dig out bolt anchors and badly driven screws and patch the wall thereafter. My office is similarly bland, but I don't have a vision for it yet.
I love this area rug, and I think it would be great for our living room. The greens look like neutral sage, which is the main color of the room. The pattern is large-scale, so it won't look silly next to the leaf print curtains, compete with the variegated floor wood, or get lost under furniture. And it seems to fit the light, airy arboretum feeling I'm going for.
