General quick update
I'm overhauling rydain.org, which is currently a bunch of stagnant subdomains. I do have quite a variety of content to share (and a backlog of such content as well), and I would like to share it in a neat and flexible manner, which to me means "use a content management system, f00". I already installed Nucleus CMS, which I chose because of its license (GPL omg completely free w00t), its ability to support multiple blogs nicely (you create them from the control panel - no multiple installations or icky hacking required), because its code base seems to be mature (meaning that I can keep updating without having to worry about porting over my database from an older version) and because it seems to be held in high regard. I haven't done much yet other than heavily edit a copy of the default skin to have a similar look to my old Wordpress blog (simple, done in shades of blue and gray) and crash MacGIMP about eighty bazillion times trying to edit one stupid piece of text in the site banner I'm making (if only the Photoshop Fairy would have visited my house on Christmas Eve...or the "y helo thar $699" Fairy...), but I think it's going to work out well.

If rydain.org does not relaunch by February 1, get on my ass and poke me. This means you, Jesper. I know you're one of the few people who not only read my blather but bothered me to update and make things cleaner and more functional.

As you may recall, I'm going to be out of town until late January 2. I may or may not update. But I probably am going to stay up all night because we have to leave at 5 a.m. to catch our outbound plane. Anybody got a lollertoaster for some rofles? OMG

not that anyone would ever have a copy of bootleg photoshoppyness, but do you get where i'm drifting one cd that's for windows version 7.0?

Hell, I'll poke you come February 1st if nothing's done. :P

rydain.org does need a shot in the arm, I suppose... at least you're making it sound as it would be one hell of a delightful shot to say the very least. ^_^

I've been using Nucleus for a few years on my son's site (it's easier to maintain a blog than it is to call and update folks who desire to know what he's up to). It has been solid as a rock since day one, and I've never had to do any major surgery when patching.
