We got some new food for our kitties, too. When I saw that Wiscoy had started carrying Castor and Pollux Organix chow, I couldn't resist picking up some to see how the little ones liked it. Judging from Chester's very insistently sniffing the bag when I brought it in the house, I figured it would be a hit. I put some in their bowl along with one of their usual foods (Wellness) and they ate it right up. After a couple of days to make sure they don't have some random sensitivity to some ingredient or another, if all goes well, it will become part of their regular food mix.
I have a lovely pile of cotton twill and forest green lining fabric en route. I'm also getting some glimmer of desire to get back to work on Xiahou Dun. I've been dragging my feet on Zhang He Armor 2.0 because of the mess/storage factor (namely, finding some cat-proof place to put the in-progress pieces), but Xiahou Dun's stuff doesn't have that problem. For example, the jacket is hanging in a closet and I can just put it back there between rounds of sewing on trim. (It also passes the "don't look at something for a while and then go back to it and see what you think" test with flying colors. I remember being stupidly paranoid about my paint job when I was originally working on it, and I looked at it the other day and was very happy with what I saw.) But Slytherin robes come first.
