Much better day  
Well. I'm in a much better mood today. First of all, I got to wrangle with JavaScript all day at work (I'm building a complex interface to a web application). For some reason, that makes time fly, and it was 5 p.m. before I knew it. I went to the gym for my sprinting workout, and although I was weirdly lethargic, I managed to get through ten intervals anyway. Go me.

I also decided that making Thursday nights regular bowling practice will be quite doable. Getting better is going to boil down to just bowling more, but it's been difficult for me to do that because I work out 5 days a week and don't want to have to stay after work for 2 hours because I drove all the way across town to bowl during lunch and don't want to stay out really late and weekends are teh sux for getting lanes. I remembered that when our team had missed the official league night, we seemed to have an easy time getting a lane on Thursday at 7:30ish to make it up. So if I lift around 6 or so (which isn't so bad - the late afternoon/dinner crowd starts to thin out by then), I can have plenty of time to practice and not lose sleep over it. Plus, there's a bowling alley literally 1 minute from my company. If they're open during the day, I can take a lunch break there once in a while and not have to be irritated over taking tons of travel time that needs to be made up afterwards.
